    1. Answer - Yes, in 1/2 or 1 hour increments at your convenience and depending on your instructor's availabilities.
  8. Question - Will martial arts training help me lose weight?
    1. Answer - Definitely! Classes are high energy but even though you burn lots of calories, it doesn't feel like exercise because you're having so much fun!
  9. Question - Can I train with my child?
    1. Answer - Yes! We have classes for kids and adults together.
  10. Question - Is martial arts training risky?
    1. Answer - Although martial arts is a contact sport, we allow light contact only, and full padded gear is required, with no facial contact for anyone under 18, no matter what your belt rank. According to statistics, martial arts training is safer than other contact sports, such as football, etc.
  11. Question - How young do you take students?
    1. Answer - Our Lil Dragons program is designed for children ages 3-5 in a fun, love-based, disciplined atmosphere.
  12. Question - I have a bad (Knee, Back, Neck, etc.), can I still do martial arts?
    1. Answer - Yes! As a registered nurse, Ms. Reeve can tailor and make a training program to accommodate your needs, with specific limitations in mind.
  13. Question - How long will it take to get my black belt?
    1. Answer - Generally, depending on how frequently you train and the age at which you start, you may earn a black belt in anywhere from 3-5 years. Ms. Reeve does not promote to black belt under the age of 10.
  14. Question - Do I have to participate in tournaments to progress?
    1. Answer - No! There are no tournament belt requirements. However, you may participate in local and state tournaments, if desired. Also we have at least two in-school tournaments per class year (where everyone wins a trophy).
  15. Question - Will my child be encouraged to attack other children using his/her new founded Karate skills?
    1. Answer - No. In fact, our martial arts training teaches children “How to defeat a bully without fighting."
  16. Question - My child has ADHD. Will martial arts training help?
    1. Answer - Absolutely! Martial arts training is one of the best activities to promote focus, respect, courtesy, self-control & self-confidence.
  17. Question - Do I need a uniform?
    1. Answer – For Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo & Lil Dragons, uniforms are required, but are provided as part of your initial enrollment packet.
  18. Question - How will I know what to do?
    1. Answer – As part of your enrollment packet, you will receive a student manual, which includes terminology, protocols, rank requirements and other valuable information.
  19. Question - How do I get started?
    1. Answer – Just click on our "Kick Start" link and send us your information. We'll have your uniform and student manual ready, and we'll be waiting for you at the door when you come in.
  20. Question - Do you teach children how to defend against bullying?
    1. Answer – Yes! First, we give children the self confidence they need in order to not BE a bully. But also, as a part of our regular classroon curriculum, we feature the program "How To Defeat A Bully Without Fighting" by Dr. Terrence Webster-Doyle, 6th Degree Black Belt and Ph.D. psychologist.  This program teaches children (and adults) to walk away with confidence by using their mind, their most powerful weapon!
  21. Question - What about stranger-danger instruction?
    1. Answer – We are a licenced provider of the nationally recognized program "Journey of the Steal-Proof Master" . This program uses mystical stories of 10 evil warriors , which represent the 10 lures predators use to abduct or harm children. Children learn to recognize predators by what they say and do , rather than what they are wearing or how they look. They are also taught the ONE BIG RULE - NEVER GO ANYWHERE WITH ANYONE WITHOUT YOUR PARENTS PERMISSION!
