VMAC Hosts Community Safety Event

In honor of our 15 year anniversary, Vision Martial Arts Center, the premier martial arts training facility in Plano, is hosting a free community safety event and charity fundraiser Saturday, August 14th at our school, located at 3019 W. 15th.

The day will 'kick off' with the kick-a-thon and silent auction benefiting the VMAC Black Belt Scholarship Fund, an organization that provides martial arts training and leadership training to challenged and/or underprivileged students. The Scholarship Fund has already graduated 2 students to Black Belt (one is partially paralyzed due to a severe brain injury), both of whom are still training, and has 4 other students currently enrolled.
 
Other events during our Open House include Child Safety Awareness by Plano Police Department, Fire Safety by Plano Fire Department, board breaking, Womens Safe Defense, Earn Your White Belt, Face Painting, a Candy Bar, and door prizes. There is no charge to attend these events and it will be held from 10:30 am until 2 pm. For more information, call VMAC at 972-758-8622
